About Eurofault

Built by people tired of hunting through the factory manual mid-job

Eurofault started as a simple idea: a Mercedes-Benz diagnostics reference should feel like the shop floor, not a scanned service manual — and it should be priced for the independent, small business shop, not a dealer network with a factory subscription already built into overhead. Searchable, step-by-step, and social — because the best fix for a stubborn SAM fault is often the specialist two bays over.

Every procedure in the database is broken into checkable steps with a wiring diagram, a torque spec, and the field notes that actually matter — the stuff the factory manual leaves out, like which connector corrodes first or which module needs a battery disconnect before it'll re-code.

Shop Talk brings live chat and threaded forums into the same place, so a question about a stubborn P0455 on a W213 doesn't have to leave the app. And when a specialist has a fix that isn't in the database yet, they can submit it — every submission is reviewed by an admin before it ever reaches the shop floor, so the database stays trustworthy as it grows.

Alongside the chassis-specific procedures, the Electrical Guides tab covers general electrical diagnosis component by component — a separate reference for the fundamentals that apply across platforms.

We're a small team building this platform by platform, chassis by chassis. Today the database covers sedan, coupe, wagon and SUV platforms from the 190E through the current S-Class and GLS; the G-Class and the electric EQB, EQE SUV and EQS SUV are in research now. If something's missing or wrong, tell us — see the Help page for how.
